It is an exciting time at NGC as we continue to build momentum coming out of the worst downturn in recent memory. We are proud to have been trusted by the team at Paramount to provide compression for their expansion at the Karr Gas Plant in Alberta.
The project includes a 125 HP RoFlo rotary vane compressor and a 150 HP Ariel JGA single stage reciprocating Recycle Compressor. As is often the case, project schedule is a major concern for the team at Paramount and by working collaboratively with them and the project EPC Gas Liquids Engineering we were able to find some creative ways to expedite the overall delivery without losing the critical feedback of the Operations Group.
Everyone involved has been working hard to meet the tight deadlines and the level of commitment to Paramount’s success remains high. We are already well into design and engineering with fabrication to begin the next few weeks. Both packages are expected to be completed in January and the team is tackling roadblocks every day to ensure the priority of schedule is maintained.
