After 10 years running the compression arm of big public Oilfield Services companies our founder Shane Guiltner decided to try his hand at a start up in the industry he had spent most of his career in. His assessment was that the market was saturated and over served, barriers to entry seemed low and future growth was likely limited. However it was all he knew and wasn’t smart enough to start over!
The original business plan proved to have a shelf life of about 2 weeks and over the years the business has continued to adapt to significant changes that the original path did not even contemplate.
Expansion into fabrication in 2005 with purchase of E&D Pipe and Process equipment, in 2006 opened the first service location in Medicine Hat and sold the product distribution business to focus on compression.
Today the company has expanded it’s reach both geographically and in terms of product line, the future remains to unfold as it will and will undoubtedly hold unexpected surprises!
